Commissions

Would you love to capture a special landscape, garden, or moment in nature as a hand-carved linocut print? I offer bespoke commissions inspired by the places and plants that mean the most to you; a favourite woodland walk, a cherished view, your own garden or allotment, or even a wedding bouquet preserved in print. Each piece is thoughtfully designed, carved, and printed by hand, creating a lasting artwork that celebrates your connection to the natural world.

Every commission is unique, but to help you get a sense of pricing, I've outlined some typical sizes and options below. These include the design, carving and one hand printed original on high quality paper. Additional prints and framing can be added if you wish.

The commission process

• Initial chat: Share your ideas, photos, or memories of a favourite place, garden or moment.
• Quote and booking: I'll confirm the price and timeframe, and a deposit of 50% secures your commission.
• Design stage: I create an initial sketch or layout for you to review and approve before carving begins.
• Carving and printing: Once the design is approved, I begin carving the lino block by hand. Unlike a painting, no further changes can be made at this stage, as each cut permanently removes material from the block. Once complete, your linocut is hand-printed onto high quality paper.
• Finishing touches: Once dry, your print is signed, carefully packaged and sent to you.
