Heale Bothy is a black and white linocut created while I was volunteering as a gardener at Heale House estate in Salisbury. It shows the view from just outside the bothy, where we gardeners would sit at break time. This piece holds special memories of working alongside the late Michael Maltby who was an inspiring mentor and a phenomenal treasure trove of knowledge. He is very much missed.
Printed by hand on beautiful 300gsm hot-pressed watercolour paper, this piece captures fine detail and subtle texture. Each print is unique, with slight variations that are part of its handmade character.
