Heale Bothy
Original linocut
This black and white linocut was created while I was working in the garden at Heale House, Salisbury. It shows the view from just outside the gardeners' bothy, where we would sit at break time. This piece holds special memories of working alongside the late Michael Maltby, who was an inspiring mentor and a phenomenal treasure trove of knowledge.
Printed by hand on beautiful 300gsm hot-pressed watercolour paper, this piece is full of fine detail and subtle texture. Each print is unique, with slight variations that are part of its handmade character.
Size: 19x26cm print with 30x40cm mount
Edition: 30
Paper: 300gsm hot-pressed watercolour paper
Ink: Black oil based relief ink
Mount to fit a standard 30x40cm frame included. Unframed.
