About "I'm always drawn to messy tangles. I just find them so beautiful and delicate, and a wonderful challenge to draw. This linocut I did after seeing a little area under some bushes that I would have loved to make a den in if I were younger, except you couldn't get to it through the undergrowth. I loved the secret, inaccessible space and the view through the branches to the light beyond."
