Forest Floor was created as part of a project where I threw a hula hoop into the woods and explored whatever fell within its circle. Each fallen leaf has it's own curl and little imperfections, surrounded by grass, and moss - details which I felt deserved to be noticed. It’s a study of the kind of quiet beauty in nature that is often passed by.
Printed by hand on beautiful 300gsm hot-pressed watercolour paper, this piece captures fine detail and subtle texture. Each print is unique, with slight variations that are part of its handmade character.
