Linocut at Langford Lakes - an Introduction
12:30–3:30pm | Saturday 28th February 2026
Join me for a relaxing afternoon of creativity at Langford Lakes Nature Reserve, a beautiful wildlife haven managed by the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, just outside Salisbury.
Our workshop takes place in the Brockbank Centre, a light-filled space with stunning views over the lakes - the perfect setting for an inspiring artistic retreat.
About the Workshop
We’ll take inspiration from the nature around us, sketching and collecting small treasures from the landscape before transforming them into a small edition of original linocut prints.
This workshop is designed as an enjoyable, mindful afternoon in a peaceful setting, surrounded by likeminded creative people.
No previous experience is needed - just curiosity and a willingness to explore the process!
What’s Included
- Step-by-step demonstrations of the printmaking process
- Guidance and support with designing, carving, and inking your lino block
- Printing your own edition of five black-and-white prints on professional printmaking paper
- All materials provided to create one lino block and an edition of five prints
You’ll take home your lino block and all your prints to keep.
If time allows, additional materials will be available to purchase should you wish to create more designs or extra prints.
